It been a while since my last post due to life being so busy here on the smallholding.
We have had new arrivals in the shape of Indian runner Ducks. We’ve planted new apple trees and been joined by new guests.
But as the year draws to a close we have turned our attentions to pressing our apples to make juice and once a again we have some for sale. This year is slightly different as The Bell pub has kindly agreed to sell our juice so when you pop in for your pint or a Nice home cooked meal you can also buy some to take home with you.
We have had great support and we thank you. All the money we make goes back into the small holding. So if you fancy giving some a try please get in contact.
Projects for the coming months include :- pruning our trees, cutting back hedges and expanding our rain water harvesting system. Which we hope will make us more sustainable and to help to see us through periods of dry weather.
