Juicing it up

We are now nearing the end of our second lockdown and although we have had some changeable weather we have been able to get on with some work. With the the benefit of not being able to go anywhere we have made a start trimming the remaining hedges and clearing the headlands on the hay field We are yet to tackle the main task of clearing years of bramble growth with the hope that we can increase the area for the grass. The new grass seed we had sown a month or so ago is showing signs of growth so hopefully we will get a better harvest next year

We have have also been busy trying to sell our apple juice. We have had a great response from out neighbours in the village with lots of new sales. We have also had interest from the surrounding areas. So I would like to say a big thank you to all those who have bought from us. These sales go to help us maintain the orchard and improve the habitat for our local wildlife.

We are also please to announce that you are now able to buy our apple juice from The Blue egg Great Bardfield.(see local info for details). I would like to thank them for their support and hope that the juice sells well.

During these difficult times please support independent shops by buying local where you can.

Keep safe

David
